Red Booties

Last week I had the pleasure of making some little blue booties for a friend that's expecting her first child. I was inspired to do a red pair for fun. (taking a small break from my orange craze) I like them a lot; my DH thinks I should make them in the reverse. I'm considering it. Of course I'm thinking I should make a pair in this orange polka dot fabric that I have. I know, I know enough already with the orange, but I can't help it.

I managed to make a orange blanket this week with the orange giraffe on it. I know; what's the fascination with the giraffe? I don't know, it just seemed like the right animal for that color. It's a phase. I will be over it soon I know, I feel a red inspiration coming in the horizon. :)

My Orange Giraffe

I told my SIL the other day I was on an orange kick. I love this color and the fabric is so yummy. I'm dreaming about all the things I can make with all the lovely orange fabrics I have in my arsenal. Currently I'm selling this set on Etsy at www.letallfeet.etsy.com

It's funny I was looking through my Etsy favorites the other day and I guess one of the people who hearted me was collecting everything giraffe and orange; I think. Anyway one of her favorite items was a stuffed giraffe made out of this dotted fabric. The seller was from Australia, I believe its lulucarter. It's a really cute Giraffe. You would think we got together and planned are little giraffe items but no we didn't it just happened... :) Maybe the same buyer who likes hers will buy mine or visa versa.(criss cross applesauce, I hope, I hope)
